Bellevue Partners LLP offers the high professional standards expected of private practice together with experience developed in the real world as businessmen and company directors. Inspired by the entrepreneurialism of business and frustrated by the fetters of professional services, we have learned the hard way: as hands-on managers who over the years have gained valuable experience of what it takes to run a business that is fit, healthy and able to survive in testing economic conditions.

Robin Aitken

From Edinburgh, Robin studied biochemistry at the University of Bristol. A lapsed scientist who considered being an academic, he qualified as an accountant at Arthur Andersen before joining the BBC to pioneer the introduction of new media and commercial management practices. He moved into the world of SME’s where as Group CFO he led the AIM listing of a dotcom. He then managed a private equity-backed MBO of marketing data solutions provider, Occam DM, acting as both CFO and COO.

Robin now acts as an interim manager and management consultant drawing on the breadth and depth of his business experience to deliver performance improvement and business turnaround. He is also a visiting post-graduate lecturer at the University of Bath in Financial Management.

David Gebbie

Also from Edinburgh and a fellow graduate of University of Bristol, David trained as a lawyer at Simmons & Simmons, earned his spurs at Withers where he became a partner at the age of 30. After 6 years, he left and promptly learned how to keep a European-wide business afloat as General Counsel of Razorfish Inc during the dotcom downturn, before founding his own legal practice Gebbie Law. He then became COO of Albert Abela Corporation where he worked for 5 years leading a US$500 million international restructuring and turnaround. David is now a practising lawyer, private investor and turnaround expert.
